This workshop focuses on preparing English students for text-dependent analysis questions, such as the ones included on the new English 1 EOC and the writing prompts on the SAT and ACT. Teachers will receive information on the types of prompts used on these high-stakes tests. They will also learn strategies for deepening student responses to texts and hands-on practice adapting materials they already use to practice these skills with students.
